I just got this broke down John Deere 245 with the 14 hp Kawasaki. Everything works but one major problem it doesn't move. When I move the transmission to forward or reverse I have no movement. I have not tried anything yet, any help will be great.

Well if the drive belt is working, that is it turns the large pulley on top of the transmission, then most likely you have a bad transmission. the last owner found out that it will cost more to get another transmission than the tractor is worth. there is a small stamping along the bottom center of the transmission, will tell you the make and model and you can start searching for a NOS one on ebay or a used one at a lawn mower junkyard.

Looking for a replacement part number for a magneto for a kawasaki 9 hp on a John Deere rx75

I can find it but it seems to be a bit of money, on ebay using the John Deere number MIU13323 I also searched it with the Kawasaki number 21121-2084 Coil-Ignition , wasn't any cheaper. But there was some used ones on there for half the money. Most places had it as discontinued . Just depends on which you love more , your money or your Deere.

look underneath did drive belt snap in two , rear has white plastic fan on top of it that should be rotating with engine running if not yep you broke a belt , don't know about wire could it be from front PTO they are electric so it will need a wire ,one possibility is that drive belt broke slapped front PTO and broke off wire , that musta been some snow your pushin ooh and a reminder never push a hydrostatic drive tractor without pump turning it will dammage it

On john deere 345 18 hp kawasaki liquid cooled engine .temp light starts flashing on after ten min. run time. doesn't seem to be hot and water in rad. is not boiling over. replaced radiator cap,...

Water pump gear or the water pump impeller could have failed. If its the pump and due to it being at the bottom front side of the engine it would take some time for it to boil due to the fan is always pulling air down thru the radiator and its at the very top of engine. Cool water on top and really hot coolant around the cylinder with sensor. I'm sure it's the pump.
