"DEMO MODE" is a tool intended for in-store demonstration of the microwave oven to the consumer.
While in Demo Mode, if you push "START", the microwave will not fully operate as designed.
To Exit Demo Mode, press the "Timer/Clock" button four times. If it does not work, see to your operating manual.
Demo Mode
The Demo Mode is ideal for learning how to use the microwave oven. When set, functions can be entered without actually turning on the magnetron. The microwave oven light will come on, the fan will run, the countdown will run very quickly in the display, and the turntable will rotate.
To Turn On/Off: The microwave oven and Timer must be off. Touch and hold TIMER SET/OFF for 5 seconds until 1 tone sounds. Repeat to turn off.
The manual says "while in standby mode, press and hold the '3' key on the keypad for 3 seconds until 2 tones sound and the 'DEMO' icon appears. Repeat to turn demo mode off."
It may still be in demo mode.Some microwave manufactures build a demo mode into there microwave to show it off in the store so it don't burn out the magnetron.
