I'm not having software.so i'm unable to repair the mp3 player of philips..........gogear 2gb.pls assist me how to repair my mp3 machine....?

Hi!

Your problem posted under Philips GoGear HDD075/17 MP3 Player, so I am assuming it is the device you are trying to re pair.

The MP3 Player Firmware Upgrade 4.41d drivers is the one you need. This is compatible for the following models.... Philips HDD050/060/065/066/070/071/075/077

1. hdd070_17_fus_aen.zip

    laQueen can u also please help me i have a SA222/05 philips go gear 2gig audio flash player.i scanned it with Smadav2012 and caught 328 virus attacked files and i chose the delete all option and after that i formatted the mp3 player using windows and loaded music but when am playing the songs theres no sound at all.how can i get the operating system restored please i downloaded the firmware upgrade file and put it in the player but im failing to extract files from it

    PLEASE help!!!!

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

Formating the mp3 player
Don't format the player. Run a Repair in the Philips Device Manager. If you have lost your installation CD, you can get the Philips Device Manager from Philips website.

MY philips go gear 2gb music player does not getting on.
Run a Repair in Philips Device Manager - the program came on the installation CD.

If that fails the first time: Unplug the GoGear from the PC. Uninstall all Philips software in the Add/Remove Programs section of Control Panel. Restart your computer and reinstall the software. Replug the GoGear. Re-run the Repair.
