Do you mean the Electrolux/Aerus Lux 5500 canister vacuum? Is so, then the upside down U with a ? indicates check bag. Often it indicates no bag is in place. The filled in upside-down U below that means that the bag is full. Change your filter bag then reset the on/off switch. (Turn the unit off while you change the bag and then turn it on again once the bag is properly in place.)
Best case scenerio....check and replace the bag...try it. If no bag, it won't start. If that's not it, could be the on/off button or rocker needs replaced and worse case scenerio, the motor is OUT!... I can help! [email protected]
Need help with the lux 7000, the light "bag full" is on and it will only turn on for 30 second at best. I've put in new bags and the "bag full" is still on. Can you help me
Fits all Electrolux
canisters/tanks made after 1954, (except Lux 9000, Guardian, Epic 8000,
Renaissance, Harmony or Oxygen models) Generic 12 pack of Electrolux
vacuum bags.
It sounds like the valve assembly (full bag control) is faulty. Threr are two O rings inside of it and the plactic holding the bottom one has broken. You'll have to take it to the shop.
