This would be an issues that is a result to drying. Are you using Canon inks?
All manufacturers of printers use a wipe cleaning.. So try to run a few cleaning run from the canon software. If the cleaning doesn't help then the print head could be plugged with ink.

Vertical colored stripes on my V555-G1

Vertical colored stripes on your V555-G1 TV can be caused by a few different things. The first thing you should check is the cable that connects your TV to the input source.

Make sure that the cable is firmly connected to both the TV and the input source. If the cable is firmly connected and you're still seeing vertical stripes, the next thing to check is the settings on your TV.

Make sure that the resolution is set to 1080p and that the refresh rate is set to 60Hz. If you're still seeing vertical stripes, try changing the HDMI input that your TV is connected to.

If you're still seeing vertical stripes after trying all of the above, it's possible that there is a problem with your TV. You can try resetting the TV to see if that fixes the problem.

If the problem persists, you may need to contact customer support for further assistance.
Will replacing the T-con board help?
The short answer is: maybe.
The longer answer is that it depends on what is causing the problem in the first place. If the problem is with the T-con board, then replacing it may well fix the issue.

However, if the problem is with something else - like the LCD panel itself - then replacing the T-con board is not going to help.

Blank stripes on page left to right

If the blank stripes go up and down the page (vertical) then it sounds like the laser lens has simply got toner on it. remove the toner and photo conductor units. Look for the glass panel that covers the laser lens and simply wipe it off with a cloth. Some machines incorporate a lens wiping pad that can clean the lens without taking out the parts. I can not remember if the 1710 does or not.
