Murrym19546 riding mower want move why?

I would believe the mower is ran off a belt and the belt has stretched to the point and needs replacement. Raise the mower up and look under it and see if the drive belt is sloppy or loose.

Why does my new drive belt jump off of rear pulley when driving forward, break pedal jumps and mower jerks

it's not installed correctly is my first guess. then I would look for a broken/missing spring

Replaced drivebelt on troybilt riding mower now the forward pedal moves mower in reverse?

Sounds like you have the belt running in the opposite direction. You need to Change the way the belt is routed around the pulleys

Why isn't Lawnboy lawn mower model NO. 10604 drive not working

Inspect the pulley where the belt loops on the wheel transmission. There is a tension spring, that when you pull the level, it puts tension on the belt. If that spring is missing or the pulley does not provide tension the wheels will not turn because the transmission is not being engaed..

Please. Break pedal are stuck Dow and can be moved. Husqvana 2000. M-2000 YTH21K46

As you are pushing down the pedal use your hand to release the pedal lock lever. Or a belt popped off the drive pulleys and is binding the idler pulleys. Or so much grass has accumulated on transaxle its binding brake/Clutch pedal.

I just replaced the drive belt on my Troy built auto transmission Bronco 42" riding mower, and now it goes a lot slower. The belt seems to be routed correctly

The bronco is a variable speed mower from what I remember. There is a belt that goes from the crankshaft to a variable speed pulley and another belt from the variable to the transmission. If your 1st belt is too long it will never get up to speed. Do you have to push the pedal down further now than before to get it to move. ? If so your main belt is too long.

When in gear, the brakes won't stop my mower. Also, it's very difficult to shift out of gear once the mower is in gear (forward and reverse).

drive belt is not getting slack on trans pully when pedal is pushed down.check all belt guides on outside of pullys .also check for worn pullys if v in pully is not flat may cause belt to hang up may want to try to adj brake rod that moves pully that slakens belt .hope this helps

My riding mower stopped forward and reverse movement every once in a while..then it stopped completely. the engine is running fine and the throttle parts move when the pedal is pressed

Check the main drive belt. Without knowing your specific model and brand, its hard to be more detailed than that. Almost all riders have a main belt. When you look under your mower, there are usually two belts that come off of the drive shaft of the engine. One drives the mower deck and one drives the transmission for your mower. The way your mower "stopped forward and reverse movement every once in a while" tells me your belt developed a bad spot, then completely let go. Also, many mower companies host a website for their products. You can find your model's owners manuals, parts lists, and diagrams, to help you fix the mower yourself, which I highly recommend, if you are able. Shops in my area charge around $150.00 to $200.00 dollars to change a main belt.

Clutch vibration and jerking at slow speeds.

Check the drive belt. It probably has chunks missing or at least has flat spots (narrow spots) that cause the belt to jump every time it goes around a pulley. That will set up a heck of a vibration. Also check the pulleys for free movement. The drive belt is above the blade drive belt....
