Most likely you water solenoid is bad. need to make sure you get voltage(120v) to water solenoid. if voltage then the only other thing that could be wrong besides the solenoid. would be a kinked hose or the line (has a small chance) has frooze inside the door panel if sprung a leak.

Ge GSL25JFTA is leaking water on the floor from the front of the unit

Turn off the water supply to the ice maker. If it stops the leak, look for a leaky O ring on the filter. There is a plastic hose that runs out of the front of the refrigerator and goes to the freezer door for the water dispenser. It has a connector near the freezer door lower hinge so the door can be removed easily. That connector can leak as well. There is a condensate pan under the refrigerator that may be over flowing too.

I have a GE gsl25jfta bs side by side, the freezer melts ice box then freezes it again.. Making a block of ice

Sounds like you could have a bad mother board. Very common problem with the GE models. It will shut compressor off, than everything starts to melt, then it comes back on. Replace main control board and it should resolve your issue.

I have a GE model GSL22JFPH BS refridgerater and

Then the line in the door is frozen . Either raise the freezer temp for several days , so the line in the door will thaw , or , I have heard using an air tank will blow the ice out of the line in the door . There is a heater for the water dispensor tube , pt # WR49X10173 , which should keep this from happening again .

GE Frig GSL22JFTA BS

If you get water at the bottom of the door then something is blocking it between there and the dispenser. Usually ice. Leave the door open and cover the freezer opening with a blanket to keep freezer cold.It should thaw in 156 or 20 minutes.

Sounds like the flapper is not shutting completely. Open the door and look into the door flapper hole from the inside. If its not closed its either stuck (push closed from outside) or broken. If broken you will need part replaced

Ice maker and now water dispenser does not work

Do you get water to the connector at the bottom of the freezer door ? if you do then the water pipe in the door is probably frozen - read new door ! if not then check thw electrical connector at the bottom of the freezer door as they have a habit of corroding.

Water and ice will not dispense

I had the same problem. I followed stills' suggestion and used a weed **** wire to push through the water spout. The weed **** did not go past more than 2-3 inches. Then I emptied the ice bin, used the hair dryer right close to the spout both from the outside and from the inside of the freezer door. After about a couple of minutes it started working! Now, just to check if the weed **** wire will go in more than a few inches I pushed it through. Now I was able to go well past 6 inches. So, before even you start addressing this problem try pushing through a weed **** line and if it is blocked then your problem is in the door. If not, then the problem may be in the reservoir at the refrigerator side.

Water dispenser not working but ice maker does

The water line freezes inside the freezer door. There is now an add-on water line heater you can install to thaw the line.
