How to create book type header in docx file means double header, one for tile which must be apply for whole doc. while other tiltle may change after few nuber of pages

hello , dell, we have many here.
dell is king, in my book , super support and product, ! HP next.
running windows 10 are you?
so you have doc file , xyz.doc
and don't have MS word.? new word uses xyz. docx
in word (have used it since word v2) hit the delete key , num lock OFF.
that is all there is to that, same on all word processors mostly, and all desktop publishers. DEL means DELETE.
for a word select it with mouse and hit DEL.
same is this page, now Im tying on same key same way.
also free word pad can create a docx and save it and be read
by both WORD AND WORD PAD.

I am assuming you mean "notepad". It sounds like the default program for Word files was changed to notepad instead of Word.
To change it to use Word, find a word file (one with a .doc or .docx extension), right click and under "open with" select "choose default program". Select Word and click the checkbox "always use the selected program" to change the default. Then click OK. It should change the icons to the "W" Word icon, and should open them in word from now on.

You can attempt a repair by opening Word, File>Open Select the document and then where it says "Open", click on the little arro next to it and choose "Open and Repair". If this does not work then it is corrupted beyond repair.

Hello there!

Well that problem can be caused only if you are using older version of microsoft office 2007. If you have MS2003 package, and trying to open docx file extensions that will not work, but you are able to use docx extensions with MSoffice2007 package. In your question you put that you already use MS office 2007 package,so i suggest your docx extension is somehow corrupted.

If you had downloaded it from the internet please redownload it again.

If that was your work try to save it in doc format 1st then in docx if you want to enable only msoffice2007 users to use it. Good luck ! =)

I use Office 2003, and have installed and currently employ the "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats" mentioned in article. This is, for the most part, seamless when reading in Office 2007 .DOCX or .PPTX files, for examples, in Office 2003.

Otherwise, in Office 2007, you can change and set your Word Options so that you can save files in a specific format, including a previous Office version to ensure compatibility.
