FIM70 Makes ice but does not drop. Forms large block of ice over cups.

Defrost thermostat is bad. Defrost element is staying on for too long raising up temperature causing ice to melt.

Are you getting any heat from the condenser? Sounds like the buzzing is the compressor failing to pump.

If cleaning dose not help with the problem than you need to look into a harvest problem.

icw maker is bad leaking from crack in ice maker mold.real hard to change out,better get some help,i do not like to change them

You will need to replace the heater that heats the ice enough to release it to dump. Here is the heater to order.

Ice may jam up in an ice dam and close off the chute. Shove the ice scoop up into the chute with a fair amount of force to break up the ice dam. Chunks of ice should fall into the bin, followed by a shower of ice cubes.

Try closing the valve partially on the incoming water to the icemaker. Close it to a trickle. Water is fed to the icemaker by a short timer. Too much water pressure means too much water. If this helps it but not solve it, get the spec sheet for the icemaker and adjust to make cubes smaller. This shortens the timer. If no joy, you may need to replace icemaker module.
