Husqvarna vs Echo gas weed trimmers...needing your opinion.

Does it seem that more people have problems with Husqvarna or Echo gas weed trimmers? We are going to purchase one. We have about four to five hours of weed trimming at least every other week and we live on a fairly steep incline. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Got a Echo 266 weed trimmer from my boss that seized up. Straight gas was put into it after only second use. I got it to turn and compression seems good and it sparks but still won't start. What do i check...
Sal check by putting a tiny bit of fuel in the block and see if it fires. It may need the carb gaskets changed

When i start my husqvarna weed eater it has no throttle response...what can cause the problem
A clogged fuel system or a carburetor in bad need of a rebuild can cause this. Also, if the engine end of the throttle cable has pulled out of the lever on the carburetor, or off of the trigger on the handle, you will have this symptom.

CHECK THE SCREEN ON OUTPUT OF THE MUFFLER. ITS CALLED A SPARK ARRESTOR, THESE GET OIL FOULED AND MAKE EM A BEAR TO RUN . Most trimmers use a 40:1 ratio on fuel mixture. Check the gas tank on your trimmer, as some manufacturers label it as an imprint in the plastic tank itself.
