-general, and now your ready to add input languages from your key board.
you can add language whatever you want. adding english can enable ?.
if your referring to an external keyboard and it does not happen to the internal one, could be an issue with the keyboard. Try to test it on another computer to rule out that possibility, then check your keyboard language settings. You may want to set it to English. For acer notebooks, you may see a language bar icon at the right section of the taskbar, click it and select English. Hope this helps.
START CTRL PANEL KEYBOARD Regional language options Select your country (US AU UK etc) and the appropriate language english This will reinstate your keyboard to deal with the right characters being typed.
Try the keyboard on a different computer. If it works ok on the different computer then your computer may be set up for a different keyboard language. (Don't worry... you can set it back to USA in the control panel).
If you try keyboard on a different computer and you still have the same problem, then the keyboard may be defective.
