    I also need 'ethernet controller' driver for my sony vaio VGN- FS295XP. I have found the list of suitable drivers here but do not know which one I need for my laptop!

This update resolves the problem of registered applications not launching from the VAIO Launcher toolbar.
Note: This program requires VAIO Zone 1.2.05 or later. If your VAIO model comes with VAIO Zone 1.2.02, you must first update VAIO Zone before running this program.
Download and installation
1. Download the file SOAVZN-01028300-UN.exe and save it to a download directory
2. Close all running applications
3. Go to the download directory and double-click SOAVZN-01028300-UN.exe
4. The InstallShield wizard starts
5. Click Next and wait while setup is installing the new software
6. Click Finish when the installation is complete

Hey,

Make sure you are downloading the correct driver for your webcam, and make sure that if you are installing 64bit windows 7 that you have a 64bit driver, and same with 32bit (im sure you are, but double check just in case).

If you are 100% sure of that, have a look through the drivers page for your laptop and look for a "chipset" update of some sort.

You need to install drivers using the CD/DVD comes with your system, otherwise download from sony support web site by providing your model number.

Where can i get drivers (display, ethernet) for VGN-CR90NS
Run wndows update , and select the custom install updates , check the three columns on the left for additional updates any missing drivers should appear , if not use the sony website to find drivers , only use the region it was purchased in as some laptops are region specific, ie. sony vaio vgn-sr490cd is specifically Canadian you won't get support except on the Canadian sony website
