My MSN messenger does not recognize my camera when video chatting. i have a MACBook, and skype and iChat does recognize my camera but not MSN. i am told i need the following ports in my operation system as well as my router allow them .TCP 80, 443, 1863 TCP/UDP 30000 - 65535 please advice. thanks

Got to this link. Find your router in the list. Click on it, and then click on the prgram you want to port forward for. It will walk you thru the steps. If you can't find your program, try UltraVNC, which uses some of those ports!

there might be a reset switch on the back of the router sometimes near the power supply port if so then press that and the user name and password will be reset to default and the default settings should be either in the manual or on the bottom of you router

LINKSYS ::::

NAT STRICT

Step 1 : Connect Router - Computer

Step 2 : Open Router Setup by typing http ://192.168.1.1

Step 3 : Click Applications and Gaming

Step 4 : Click DMZ

Step 5 : Select Enable and Give the IP Address of the XBOX/PS3/Wii in it

Step 6 : Click Save settings

Step 7 : Unplug the Power cord from the router and turn Off XBOX /PS3/Wii

Step 8 : Plug the power cord back to the router and wait till the lights are Solid

Step 9 : Turn on the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 10 : Test the Connection

There you can open the ports one by one

And give the IP Address of the PS3 for all the ports opened
