No picture just blank screen when turned on

I would not spend any money on repairing this old TV, I really doubt the parts are still made and the new TV's are so cheap to buy, a 48" Vizio LED Flat Screen is just $388.00 at SAMS and Walmart.

it sounds like you need to purchase a new video board from vizio which is expensive. upwards of 600 dollars. walmart has vizio 42 in and 47 in 1080p models around 500 dollars on sale this weekend. hope this helps let me know!

your tv's pictures tube are creating the problem. contact with the tv brand customer services center for the repairment of your tv

This tv the LCD inverter board is dead,that why is not sustanning backlight for the LCD screen light to have the picture.Call Polaroid for warrenty repair,this tv under a year old.

It is still possible the z sustain board is bad. or an x driver board.

what's the model number? usually this is labelled underneath the PC.

You can return it to Walmart with your receipt, they should have the warranty on file. No hassle should come of this.

Turned the Tv seton had only half a screen tried to used the remote to reset the set to is regular settings it reset but the picture was offset to the right of the right of the screen I the brought up the menu in hopes of using the vertical or horizontal to bring it back full screen and the remote stop functioning for the tv and i put new batteries in it thinking matbe the remote was down but to no avail it still didnot work I had to unplug thr tv for about an hour and plug it back up for the remte to work and still had only a half of sreen and now i have sound and no picture just a green screen

Download all the files and and you should find the info on page #19 but you will need to have the TV remote control or if your TV has a menu/set up button on the front panel, you can try to get to close caption using the channel up/down and volume up/down.

your camcorder video head is dirty, use a brand new tape and playback for around 5 minutes or more, this will serve as your video head cleaner. you may try at least five times doing this: insert, play, eject,play, eject again. your camcorder has a built in videohead cleaner and activates only during insert, play or rec, and eject mode. If the problem is still there, manual videohead cleaning is needed, use clean bond paper and lighter fluid, damp the bond paper (Size about 1" by 3") with fluid and rub with care the videohead (not the bond paper!The vhead should be the one turning not the paper)by slowly turning the videohead against the paper. Be careful cause this is dangerous that you might brake the videohead permanently. apply only a slight force to the head.
