Trying to determine its age

I inherited the dishwasher when I bought the house and am trying to determine how old it is. It's a Frigidare, 24 in, Precision Wash System, Ultra Quiet II, built-in model. Can you help me determine it's age? Thanks.

Only from the manufacturer you can find. If you can note the Model No Sr. No of the machine, it is possible. If it is a discontinued model, it may not be possible.

Started to get a clicking noise from the electic panel of my Frigidare PLDB998 dishwasher for a few loads and then it went dead. Its only a few years old

Did you ever find a solution? I have what sounds like the same problem. The time keeps ticking down but it flashes between CL and the time while the clicking sound is going, and it sometimes make a clunking sound while this is happening as well.

Causes interference with radio, tv

You could possibly add a metal shield around the electronics in the dishwasher and ground the shield with a wire to the dishwasher chasis. Don't know if this would reduce the EMR enough to stop the interference with the radio, but there's a chance it would.

Dishwasher was leaking; now gets "stuck" 3 minutes after starting

You're describing a number of issues related to old age and maintenance. First, you've likely got a mechanical timer that is getting stuck. If the price of replacement is outside your budget for an old warhorse....

Second, in come cases, the timer takes care of water level...in most, however, there is a float or aeneroid level sensor. If it is a float...it may be clogged/jammed with detergent or debris. Located in the wash tub near the front. Clean it up. If it is an aeneroid, it has a tube going from the tub to the lower part which hooks into a 3 inch or so flat sided round item with two wires coming out. With the power off, test it by blowing and sucking on the tube. Blowing into it should open the switched leads ...sucking should hold a 'vacuum'. The pressure of water opens and closes this switch to determine water level.
