that is the laser cannot be detect. if you can to do... check all cable which connect to laser, perhaps there are just loosen. but if it was look well. you must replace a new.
Go to the CONTROL PANEL on the computer, select PRINTER?FAX icon, then click on the name of the printer you want to associate with your printing needs and make sure it is connected. Had the same problem spent 2 hours opening and closing everything trying to reset turn off and on etc. Here is how I fixed it, slammed all the doors on left side starting with above cartridge to cartridge door and 2 little doors by paper hard - and I mean hard - and whammo error cleared immediately. Sensors that check for open door obviously stick and report they are open when they are really closed. I am sure this saved me an expensive service call.
You will need to see if you can clear the code through service mode, if the error code comes back then you will need a technician to replace your fuser unit.
