My monitor will randomly stop reciving the display signal. I have tried the monitor on another computer with the same results. If I hook my wifes monitor (exact same model) to my computer it works fine. The monitor is not lossing power, it just losses the signal? I have tried both DVI and VGA inputs with the same results. Any ideas?

Hello,
The picture board on your monitor is malfunctioning, since the power led or button is on and it randomly stop the dispaly signals, it means the picture board of your monitor
has developed fault.
The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer
within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board because
the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate
issues.
Take care.

Are you getting blank sceen or getting the message saying noinput signal? Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for:http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/al... Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.http://www.badcaps.nethttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_p...
