When downloading songs, if I change cds the mp3 deletes the last songs I put on. Why???

It will normally delete a song when the player is full of songs, as you add new songs it will delete the old songs...
Check your player to see if it is full.

Downloaded songs but won't play on go gear 3020/37 how do i fix

First try opening the gogear device and click on music right after the welcome screen. Select either "All Songs", "Artists" or "Albums" to find your songs. If you downloaded your songs, they should display on the screen of philips gogear, then you can select them to play on your headphones

Only some audio formats (.mp3 .wav and .wma will be play on philips gogear SA 3020/37)

Need to register my Philips MP3 SA3020/SA3021

You can call Philips and register the product with them.
This GoGear is not compatible with iTunes.
You will need to use a converter like Media Monkey to convert those iTunes songs (AAC) format into mp3 format (but it will only convert the unprotected songs).

Then you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your GoGear.

Mp3 problems

With the SA4010, it is sensitive to downloading large amounts of information all at once. As painful as this might be, try downloading one song at a time.

If this is a problem that didn't exist before, try resetting the player once by re-inserting the battery. If single song downloads fail, and this is a new problem Repair the device (WARNING: this will delete all songs off your player):
1) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) - if you don't see it, then re-run the installation CD or grab the "Device/Firmware Manager" from the Philips website
2) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button (on this model, you will actually use the play/pause button instead of the volume + button)
3) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off (if you haven't done so already) - hold in the play/pausebutton and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the play/pause button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the play/pause button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new.

When i try to put new songs on my Philips (4 gb)mp3 player it won't let me....

I know that the number of songs is not as much as what the product advertises, but long songs can throw off this total. Open up the icon of the goGear in windows Media Player and find out how much available memory there is left.

If there is PLENTY (I mean more than 100 MB left) of space left, then:
Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).

MP3

This player will not store much more. Even if you change the song properties, you will not squeeze much more out of this one.
