580b case backhoe trackter will go forward somtime and sometime it will not ,same thing with going backwards.

Check all fluid levels, engine, transmission, differentials, etc, also do a complete look over the machine to see it something is not jammed up! Have someone drive it forward or backwards, while your standing beside it and narrow down where the noise is coming from. And go from there.

i was told its in the parking brake switch you have to unplug it uner the boot if that dont work try relay fuse i have the same problem and buzzer is on

the screeching sound could be a belt slipping. there should be a neutral adjusment on the valves that the sticks are attached to. its just a matter of finding true neutral.

Sometimes the simplest things get missed.
Did you check the hydraulic fluid leve?
