I have a Mitsubishi 65" dlp TV and the picture is green and yellow with no reds or magenta's so would that mean i need a new bulb or does it have something to do with the color wheel

It means that the color wheel or it's encoder is not properly syncing with the controller. It is therefore blanking the DLP chip on the red and blue sections of the color wheel. Clean the color wheel motor and encoder disk, lubricate the motor. This should correct the problem. There may be dirt in the opto-coupler that is reading the color wheel. Be sure to clean it with a vacuum and small brush. Regards.

The color seems messed up on cable...like its missing red or something..however if i turn the xbox on the colors are perfectly fine...whats going on? ive tried to adjust the colors but that does seem to...

If you are using component cables (red-green-blue) for your cable hook-up you may have problems with the red one. Check to make sure it is inserted properly at both ends. Note that there is also a red-white pair for sound. This is not the red one in question.

Color problems

Your color wheel is bad. Thats the only thig that controls color on the DLP projections. You will need to replace it But I would check the connections on it first to make sure the connections are secure. Let me know if you require more assistance.

Picture has gotten darker

use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.
