It screws off, make sure you replace it with an appliance bulb.

How do you change the oven lightbulb?

Most require 2 screws to be removed to lift the glass cover from over the bulb. Then simply unscrew the bulb and insert new bulb. A 1/4" nut driver is the best tool for the job.

It "popped" a circuit breaker

NORMALLY THERE ARE SCREWS TO REMOVE TO ACCESS A PANEL TO REMOVE THE LIGHT BULB. IF THERE ARE NOT, THEN THE EXTERIOR COVER MAY NEED TO BE REMOVED TO ACCESS THE LIGHT BULB. THIS EXTERIOR COVER HAS SCREWS.
MAKE SURE YOUR CIRCUIT BREAKER IS OFF BEFORE YOU TRY TO REPLACE THE BULB.

We need to replace the baking heating element of an electric ge oven. The model number is jsp27004ad and the part is 3358. We wonder how difficult this is to repair. Can we do this ourselves? Is it...

Yes you can - yes it is worth it. First unplug or turn the breaker off to your unit. The bottom bake element is held in by 2 screws at the back of the oven. remove both of them and gently pull out the element a little. there are 2 wires attached to the element either by 2 more screws or push in connectors.

A lot of the time you can see where the element is burned out but sometimes you may have to check it for continuity with an ohm meter to tell if it is bad.

How do I replace the lightbulb. NEFF B1442 series 3 Oven

1. Some glass covers are held on with a wire clip over them. It should be visible.

2. Some have a 'ring' which is screwed to the oven cavity around the light cover. On that design the screws need to be removed from the surrounding retaining ring.

3. On may later model the glass light cover screws into place. Those covers should 9hopefully) be able to be unscrewed the same you you'd remove a jar lid.

I am looking at buying the new hidden heat element

It sure can. Whirlpool has some wonderful appliances and their ovens have a very large capacity for your Thanksgiving turkey or what ever you cook. The best of luck to you and enjoy your huge new 30" oven.

Is it easy to replace the lower element on a jtp 15 GE oven? While the wife was baking last week, the lowere element burned out. Was wondering if I could replace it myself

Easy replacement. Make sure to unplug power or shut off breaker. remove 1/4" hex screw on back of element. Pull off female terminals or some have screws. Install new element the same way.

Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 oven can't figure out how to change the lightbulb and it is not listed in the owners manual. Can anyone tell me how to remove the lightbulb cover?

The glass lens cover for the bulb is usually screwed into the socket so turn it counter clockwise and see if it comes off. When replacing the light bulb, press the door switch to ensure no power is going ot the bulb socket to prevent it from damaging the new bulb.
