Hello, If the printer will not reset then you still have a piece of paper stuck somewhere in the paper path. Did you power the printer down and back up? Here is manual. Canon imageCLASS MF4150 Manual
Are the settings correct on your computer, you might find if you go into your printers settings on you pc, the paper layout or page size etc may be set to something like Letter instead of being A4.
Printers and Faxes - Right Click printer - Properties - Printing preferences - Advanced tab and also check in Device Settings Tab
The printer may have a setup for a region which will change the paper size. Also the paper tray may need to have the paper size adjusted on it physically. Save the paper size in the preferences to A4.
I had the same cr@p of the problem yesterday. The problem was not inthe paper. You have to do 2 simple things, from which one will solvethe problem. first, download the latest drivers and install them. And the more important thing, the problem occurred due to incorrectpaper format. Solution is very simple. Open MS word or somethingsimilar, file->print.. and before you print open Properties menu. There for the Output Size will be selected "Match Page Size". you don'twant that (i don't know why it doesn't work), but the solution ismanually select A4, or whatever your page size is. And there it is... printer starts throwing pages out like crazy :)))

Make sure that the paper size set on the machine matches the paper that you have in the cassette. Also make sure that the sender is not sending legal-size documents if you are using standard size paper.
Is the machine giving any type of error message or code when the error light comes on?
