Picture color is fading

If it is fading on all screens (menus included) then it is the picture tubes. If it only fades when source is played, it is the tuner electronics.

Sreen has perfect color and then fades to a cloudy/faded picture. occassionally picture will go full color then very yellow, very red, cloudy/faded.

Does it come and go? Or is it like this all the time? If you bump the side of the TV does it change the symptoms? Thanks Lou

The color is fading. i almost can't see the picture at all. Everything is turning green

you should really see an electronic technician , your problem is not that bad , just electronic parts getting loose ( must re-apply solder to them ) and this will solve you problem , some calibration have to be done also !!

The color seems to be fading. NOt a clear picture.

Likely the picture tubes are getting weak from old age. Not much you can do about this.

Color fade

use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.

Faded colors

If the picture is dark or messed up too bad, the magic focus will not function, are all the primary colors faded? RED GREEN BLUE? You might have a bad CRT, would call a service man to check out.
