Your alternator belt may be too loose or it needs to be replaced. Also you should check the plug wires, you can buy a product called "wire dryer' at most parts stores and if this works during a rain then get new wires.

The check engine light recently came on in my 2004 Honda Civic and the car proceeded to lose power and shut off repeatedly. After running the diagnostic it indicated that the crankshaft sensor needed to...

Check engine light means emissions control system failure.
I would only rely on Honda to properly diagnose this and
replace component failure with Honda part. The ck engine
light was probably reset when your mechanic replaced the
crankshaft sensor, and in time, came back on cause the
problem has not been corrected.

'93 Honda Civic not starting after rain.

It seems prety obvious that the rain caused the problem. It don't take much moisture to mess up a distributor. Try spraying a light coat of WD40 inside the cap and don't wipe it out. It will displace any moisture that might be in there.

Check the function of the alternator. Charge the battery with a battery charger or jump start the engine. While the engine is running use a voltmeter to check the voltage at the battery posts. Red to + and black to -. You should have between 13.5 − 16 volts. If you do not the alternator is bad or the drive belt is loose. If the alternator checks ok then something is on that is drawing power from the battery and running it down. Check under hood, trunk, glove box, and interior lights. Can also be a brake light switch causing the brake lights to stay on. In rare cases it can also be a stuck relay such as a power window relay. From you description I think you will find the alternator is ok and your problem is something is on and running the battery down.

When I turn off my ignition, my heater fan will keep running

I just started experiencing the same problem. Yes, typically after rainy days, I can never get the interior lights to go out after the ignition key has been removed. The car acts as if there is a door open. Now, my latest problem is with the heater fan. Of course, putting the control in the "off" position will turn it off but you can turn it on and off with no ignition key installed. I'm also having problems with my heater core too so it's been a pain in the but!!

I believe this problem has also caused my battery to die which is why I'm on this site in the first place!! I can't get into the car with the keys and the dead battery won't allow me to unlock the car!! When it rains it pours!!!

1998 subaru forester runs rough when it rains.

Check the cap and rotor for internal carbon tracking or, just change them. Also, take a look at the coil when its dark and rainy and see if there is any arcing where the coil wire goes into it.
