My printer is not dectacting in pc after driver installation

It could be due to the printer driver not installed properly. Try to uninstall your existing Lexmark printer driver first before installing the new driver. To do that, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X5400 Series Printer > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, restart your pc when prompted.
To re-install the printer driver, please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X5495 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
Then try to print a document to verify that the printer driver is properly installed.

According to your problem first check that you have installed the driver properly or reinstall the driver. Check the USB cable of the printer. Replace the cable. Turn the printer off before installing the driver. Turn it on again while the driver installation wizard will ask to connect the printer. After installation reboot the printer and system both.

You have to install the drivers for your Nokia E71 in your Computer. Then only your computer will detect your handset.

any printer will work in your PC...as long as your computer meet the minimum requirement for the printer u choose

before you install the driver..remove or Un install the other program and driver you installed earlier
and restart the PC

you must install the right driver...install the driver that compatible to your Operating System (Xp, Vista), when installing the printer select the right port where you connect your printer (USB, LPT).

they are some installation instruction that you need to install the Printer Driver and Utilities first...then connect the printer or Restart the PC and connect the printer....

Attention Windows Vista Users
If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.

HP requires you to begin the installation of the printer with the printer not connected to the PC via the data cable. You can follow these guidelines in order to correctly install the drivers:

1. Delete the printer from your PC
2. Unplug the data cable from your PC
3. With the data cable not connected to the PC, run the driver installation program.
   
4. Connect the printer to the PC with the data cable when prompted to do so by the driver installation program.

This procedure prevents Windows from following its Automatic Hardware Detection and Installation process, which results in the HP driver not being installed correctly.
