Ok...I just bought a Juke by Samsung. When I connect it to the computer, It says Found New Hardware MTP Device in the little bubble in the bottom right corner of my screen. Nothing happens when i click on it, but it pops up repeatedly. I tried looking in My Computer to see if it showed like a flash drive or something and it's not there. I'm so confused. How do I put my songs onto it? [email protected]

You need to upgrade your player’s firmware if you experience any of the following:
When your attempt to use the player, the Found New Hardware bubble appears and then flashes between several messages including MTP Connected, Don't Disconnect, MTP Device found, MTP Device may not work properly, or There was a problem during installation.
The player constantly appears and disappears in Device Manager or appears in Device Manager with an exclamation point indicating an error.
Your computer sounds the connecting and disconnecting chime when you connect the player to the USB port.
The player does not appear in My Computer.
Uninstalling Windows Media Player 11 and using Windows Media Player 10 corrects the issue.
When you use the player on another PC or laptop, it works flawlessly.
Your player was working properly with Windows Media Player 10, but you’ve recently upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 and your computer no longer detects it.
Go to Samsung.com, enter in the model u have in the search area and then go to support, this should fix the problem!
that was the same problem for me. when you download that vcast software dont use there program. use windows media player 9. that has worked best for me. ive tried the latest window media player out and it doesnt seem to work. but if you use 9 you can go to sync with your phone connected. and you always have to make sure that you go to settings and tools on your phone. then go to call settings and then you should see pc connections and when you get to that you should see usb and you click on that and it should say pc connection set. hopefully any of those options i gave you work out.
When the YP-K3 2 gb device is plugged into the USB Port, the system
says "Found New Hardware, Samsung YP-K3" which then switches to "MTP
Device" and then fails on an MTP error. It seems to be searching for a
driver, and cannot find one. H E L P!!!!!
if you have a problem about MTP Device and wont be able to show in your "My Computer", here are tips that may help you fixed your problem:
*First- Uninstall the MTP Device Driver in your system.(Right click My Computer then manage, then click Device manager at the left part, then after that, find MTP Device in your right part, then click and Right click the name of your MTP Device then uninstall.) *Second- Reconnect the device and then after a pop-up show which says, New hardware found, click install the driver in a specific location, then choose the bottom option and then choose Storage Device. *Lastly- Turn On your Device and search it in My Computer.
hmm i got the same problem as jenn1519 ill plug mine in and when i usually plug it in the computer makes a bing noise like it recognizes that its in the usb plug but 2 seconds later it will make the bong noise that i unplugged it which i didnt so i cant put any new music on. it will charge but it wont let me get any music on. and windows doesnt read that its in there.
and also my mp3 player is very important for me its a gift from a friend so plzz plzz help ? :(

With regards to this issue, I would suggest you to download windows update since samsung MTP devices are generic driver loaded by microsoft. Then after you have downloaded the windows update press and hold the play button of your device while you are connecting it to your computer, if this is successful a Found new hardware message will pop up on your screen then just follow the on screen instruction on how to install your device.

Hi I am having a problem to with the MTP device. Bottom right corner of my screen has the window that says found new hardware...MTP device. I can not close out the window because it keeps coming back. Then I hear this like bubble sound when it's on the screen. Any suggestions? I think its for my new phone that I downloaded on the laptop. I am going to uninstall it and reinstall it and see what happens. Any other suggestions please let me know thanks...
