You need to pair your phone with your bluetooth headset.
  1. Turn on your phone's bluetooth and search for bluetooth devices.
  2. While the phoneis searching and the BT headset is off, press and hold the call/end button on the bluetooth headset until it's light glows steadily. Do not let go until the phone finds it.

I cannot seem to connect my phone to the bluetooth feature. Yes, my phone is bluetooth capable.

Hello mystcbsct,

I'm assuming that you have the BCE-400 optional Bluetooth adapter or similar third-party adapter installed.

The initial setting is BT OFF. Go into setup by pressing F/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to activate setup mode. Use the volume control (called rotary encoder in the manual) to select BLUETOOTH IN and press ENT. Press and hold F/SETUP again to exit setup mode.

Hope this helps.

IMac bluetooth mouse won't move cursor

Did you seperately setup the mouse? Even if you have, go into the Bluetooth preferences under System Preferences. Select the mouse & delete it. Setup a "New Bluetooth Device" and select "Mouse." Be sure to press the Reset button for 2-3 seconds to get the mouse into "Discoverable" mode. Your Mac will then setup the mouse automatically.
If this does not work, the Bluetooth chip in the mouse may be defective.

How do i turn on the bluetooth on my hp compaq 6720s

Not all compaq 6720s come with bluetooth module, but you can go to Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager, check whether your laptop is bluetooth ready, refer picture below,

If you can see the Bluetooth Devices in Device Manager, means your laptop is bluetooth ready. Then on your bluetooth by click the wireless button and you willl see blue light is on.

Check this icon at the right bottom corner of your desktop,

If BWT is disabled (red logo), enable it by right-clicking the Bluetooth icon and selecting Start the Bluetooth Device. The logo will change from red to white. Then you can use the Bluetooth Setup wizard to configure the service and security features as follows:
1. Right-click the Bluetooth icon, and then select Explore My Bluetooth Places.
2. Right-click the My Bluetooth Places icon in the Folders pane of Windows
Explorer and select Bluetooth Setup Wizard to begin the configuration process.

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 and a new MacOS 10.5.2 Both have Bluetooth. I'm unable to establish a connection. The setup asks if the printer is" discoverable". How do I make the printer...

Hi JGross1638,

Unfortuneatley, the C7280 does not have bult in bluetooth. It has normal built in Wireless 802.11g technology. In order to make the printer bluetooth, you can use an external bluetooth device to make it that way. The C8180 is the next model up that includes 802.11g wireless technology as well as bluetooth wireless technology.

This is the bluetooth adapter: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06b/18972-18972-236253-34210-396578-459962-465649-459963.html

If you already have the adapter, you might want to try reset the bluetooh settings on the printer. Be default, the printer is setup so that any bluetooth device can print to it. So, if you've played around with the settings then you should just have to reset them.

To reset the bluetooth settings, scroll through the main menu until you get to "Setup" and select it. Scroll through the setup menu and select, "Bluetooth" (This option will only appear if you have the adapter installed). Scroll down until you see "Reset Bluetooth" and that will reset it.

Here is the link to the manual: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06b/18972-18972-236253-34210-396578-459962-465649-459963.html (Bottom of page 35 for bluetooth reset.)

I hope this helps,

-Ernest
