Green spot and message replace the lamp. New lamp gives same message

When I turn on the projector I see a greenish yellow spot on the left side of the screen and a message to replace the lamp. When I put in a new lamp spot is still there and gives same message

The cover seems clean. The spot merged several weeks ago and appears to be getting larger. Is there another area in the light pathway that could be getting dust in it, and if so how would I access it?

    Thanks

I see, try to clean the glass cover of your projector with clean dry cloth, maybe there's a stain with it. Make sure its turn off.ok?

Have you gone through the menu, should be on the system tab, and reset the bulb reminder?

I have sanyo projector model PDG-DSU20E. Few white spots appeared on the right side of the screen. Gradually the spots has filled the right side about 1 feet is width till bottom of the screen. Now few...

1,white spots appeared on screen, means the DMD is broken, you need a new DMD.
2,the projector running off after only a few minutes, means the Inductor (Sensing element),near the Color Wheel. Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to wipe the Inductor.

Have a good day!

The screen in green?

Sounds like a loose or broken vga cable. Push it in all the way. If it's still greenish try replacing the vga cable to the projector.

P.S. Is it just green in one spot or the whole image?

When I plug in my infocus 70+ to the laptop the bulb changes to a green light and the presentaions become greenish. How do I fix this?

reset the settings to factory default. if it doesn't change, make sure the colorwheel is in yact. then check the lamp hours (in the menu option). if it's close to 3000 hours, replace the lamp. also replace it if it has bulges, black spots, fogging or flaking. when it's on it's way out, the voltage drops and that effects the light temp. if the lamp is new(ish), you may have a bad ballast. if that's the case, you can get one from an infocus service center. try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

Greenish/Yellow spot

Sounds like a scorch mark on the polerising filter, this can only be replaced by an engineer cost around £70 ($150).

InFocus LP280 problem

Hi there

I'm afraid this might be a faulty Mainboard.

Your lamp will never make the Projector show funny stuff on the image.

Must warn you that a new Mainbaord is quite expensive

Green or Yellow Spot on screen

It could be a dirty filter or dust in the intake holes. Vacuum (preferably) or blow out the vent holes. The projector may be overheating because of this.
