Sounds like a loose or broken vga cable. Push it in all the way. If it's still greenish try replacing the vga cable to the projector.


P.S. Is it just green in one spot or the whole image?

All u need is to read user manual that says press the Menu key for 15 sec and Menu bar wil be unlocked.

Hello Adam, try replacing your signal cable. the signal cable has 3 color wires, 1 for red, 1 for blue, and 1 for green, the green wire is cut off, due to stress of twisting and pulling. find one on ebay. thats it.

Hello Jessica Hi, If your projector image is complete just kinda yellow, your problem is the signal cable, basically these are the three primary colors, red, green and blue, Now let us say you remove the blue, it will produce what color? yes yellow. so the blue wire inside the signal cable is cut off. find a replacement signal cable for your projector. Try ebay. take note of the model of your projector. thats it.

Remove power to it. Reinstall the software. Then plug it back in.

They aren't worth fixing. You can find comparable to dell's for half of the price. They are everywhere. Just make certain it is for dell 1700.
