To reset the unit, pry off the silver faceplate.
Turn the unit on using the power button on the right side.
Press the reset button that was hidden behind the face plate.
The GPS unit should restart, and display its software version.
Make a note of the software version in case you have to call customer service.
To acquire satellites make sure the GPS has a clear view of the sky.

My GPS stoped working sudenly
get it on to charge for atleast an hour and then connect it to garmin.com through ur PC. Pls click updates and see if any update is available to install. install if there is any. and try to turn it back on.

C330 updates
Go to the Garmin Site, www.garmin.com and enter yous units information and the site will tell you what is available.

What are you trying to update, firmware or maps? Firmware updates ae free from Garmin. Just go to www.garmin.com and download the WebUpdater. If you are trying to update the maps, these are available for purchase in CD or SD card formats, also from Garmin or your local retailer. They should be approx. $70.

Can't update software for StreetPilot C330
I have contacted Garmin several times till I got an acceptable answer. Some of the C330 receivers were sold to car rental agencies and contain software version 2.30. These units cannot be uodated. They are not reconized as a HD letter in "my computer" and mine would not accept a map update.

My garmin 330 doesn't show maps
Did this problem occured after trying to install an update?

Try doing a hard reset on the Garmin

First remove the faceplate from the Garmin C330. To accomplish this there is a small indentation under the word Garmin where you can get a finger nail in and pop the faceplate off. On the right side of the unit is a reset button.
