In your opinion, what is the best DVD burner out there that can burn music videos on a disc, preferably that has a drag and drop feature. And will have no problem playing on a DVD player?

I understood that the laptop you are using the hp pavilion dv6000z has already a pretty good burner..

  • 8x DVD-/+R
  • 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW
  • 4x DVD-/+R DL
  • 5x DVD-RAM
  • 24x CD-R
  • 24x CD-RW
so ...all you have to do is to learn how to use it ...and for this I recomand Nero softwaer ...even elder versions of this software works great ..and you can make a data dvd with files like dvdrip avi ...that most dvd and all copmuter will playback it..also ...you can burn dvd or Vcd that will be seen in all ...in the matter of the music ...all pm3 players can read data cd ....meaning just mp3 burned into a disk ...and for cd players that reads only old track format you can make them in windows media player ...so read about and use your burner...

I know you can enjoy iTunes movie on TV with Apple TV, but why do you have to spend more $299 if you can do that with some easy software. What you need to do are just two steps:
1. Remove DRM protect from purchased iTunes video/movie/TV show to unprotected video.
2. Burn the non-protected video to DVD.
This step by step iTunes to DVD guide will teach you how to burn iTunes video to DVD, let’s start it.

Step 1 of iTunes to DVD guide: Remove DRM protect from purchased iTunes video/movie/TV show

Step1. Download iTunes DRM Remover, then install this DRM removal software, click button “Add” to input DRM protected movie or music, you can also directly drag-drop them into the main processing window.

Step2 Set the output settings

Choose your file and set the output settings in the "Convert video to" area:

10. When burning DVD is done, the DVD disc will be eject automatically. You can also find the output file at the output folder.

How do i burn an MP3 disc in windows 8
Dear Mark,

If you want to burn a CD or DVD with MP3 songs to take them with you, a good option is to use a good and free CD/DVD burner program called CDBurnerXP, that can be downloaded from http://cdburnerxp.se/en/home

After installing, choose 'Data Disc' and drag-and-drop the songs or the directories you want to the windows in the lower part of the program, as you would do normally in Windows Explorer. Please, see the attached picture.

After finishing your selection, click on the icon that looks like a CD with a check mark to start burning your compilation.

How to download mp3 music into the dvd disc
You can burn the mp3 music files to a DVD disc. Just burn the mp2 files as normal data files.
Some CD players can play mp3 music files but they need to be burnt onto a CD disc NOT a DVD disc.

If you have a DVD burner you can use the burning software that came with the unit. Maybe "Sonic" or "Nero".
Start the burning software and drag add drop your pictures into the "burn window".

Check your DVD front door to see if it says DVD Writer or DVD ROM.
If it says ROM, then it is not a burner.

Best DVD or CD discs is Verbatim brand (OfficeMAX, best price).

To burn files onto a disc, all you need to do is drag and drop files onto your drive under My Computer. When you have put all the files there, put the disc you want to burn in there, go to My Computer, double click the drive, then go to File/Burn these files to my disc. If you wish to burn music/video CDs or DVDs I would suggest using more of a full fledged burning suite such as Nero.

Using drag and drop on a CD rewritable gives only a lot of headaches, and often does not work.
