Wont pick up, just rings & rings. - Sharp UX B700 Plain Paper Inkjet Fax

Press 'MENU', Move to 'BASIC FAX SETUP' using right arrow key & press 'Enter', move to 'RINGS TO ANSWER' using arrow key & press 'Enter', enter desired no. of rings and press 'Enter'. The fax will answer after the set no. of rings in 'AUTO' answer mode.

click menu 3 times. click either repeat/rew or skip/ff to set to either 2 for 2 rings or 4 for 4 rings or 6 for 6 rings or h5 for toll saver THEN press set/ringer to save your change. Answering machine will answer after 4 rings if you wanted the 4 & saved by pressing set/ringer. Thats all there is to it.

You will have to do a little programming to accomplish this. I attached a website to this message that has all the Toshiba manuals. You will have to look at program number 16 for line access and 81 for ringing options. The code to get in program mode is *#*#1*2*3. Hope this helps.

Check to see if the mute mode has been selected .
Check to see if it is got the volume on low also .Or in vibration mode ....

buy small o-ring picks or cut two thin strips of a cheap metal finger nail file that will fit key way and slide them on the sides of saw blade the teeth of the blade will grab into the sides of the file

Your voicemail thinks that it is ringing six times. The time that it takes to transfer to the extensions counts. Whiloe it seems that there is a lapse the system actually is using enough time to ring six times total. If you need longer ring time at the extension, take in account the transfer time and set it to pick up after 8 or 9 rings. It will actually only ring six. You just have to trick the system a little.

just set the amount of rings higher on the back of the phone and make sure all you old messages are deleted and also make sure its not set to do not disturb
