Hi i installed windows vista to my sony vaio laptop and now my motion eye is not working

I have found a solution to this problem!!
OK. So-- Like all ofyou, I had the same exact problem. I upgraded my Sony VAIO VGNFE780G toWindows Vista Home Premium and discovered that my Motion Eye Cam hadstopped working.
Here's what I did and hope it works for you all:
1. Visit the Sony Support website. This is the link to my computer's support site for Windows XP. CLICK HERE
2. Click on CAMERA - 2 file(s)
3. From the submenu select Original - Sony® Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC1 Driver
4. Download and execute the file.
Itshould install and ask for a reset from there... This XP driver worksfor my combination of OS and computer, if this works for you--pleaselet others know.
Be sure to test the camera after the reboot. You can test HERE.

Thanks ZZRuss for the insufficient information! Sony still hasnt finished the drivers for any of those VGN models for windows XP.
Windows Vista is not the greatest at working on proprietary machines with drivers intended for XP. Can you get a driver from SONY for the motion eye that supports VISTA? I had Vista on my new machine (Dell) for all of 3 minutes before I uninstalled it and put a brand new copy of XP on. It's stable -- and works. Vista is squirrelly.

Yeah.... i can understand... Simply download the drivers of your MOTION eye from the Website of Sony Vaio laptops... by doing this it will rollback the upgrade and will automatically install proper drivers needed to make it work... RATE my solution it helped you really...
