Just got through to Samsung support. Turns out the freeview card had frozen and needed a reset. To do this put tv on standby. then press in serries these buttons on the remote: 'info' 'menu' 'mute' 'power' TV will then turn on with a default screen. Press 'arrow down' button untill you reach option 12 'reset' . then push the 'right arrow' and tv will reset and start in plug and play mode and commence a scan when you've set the time. Just retuned mine and its back to normal. Hoorah!!! :-)

How do I tune my teac led/lcd digital tv model no:le32a321 without a remote

Here are some steps to tune a Teac LED/LCD digital TV without a remote:
  1. Find the TV's on-screen menu buttons on the TV itself (often located on the side or bottom of the TV)
  2. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the channel setup or tuning menu
  3. Select "Auto Tuning" or "Channel Scan" and follow the on-screen instructions to scan for available channels
  4. If the TV has manual tuning option, select it and input the frequency, symbol rate, and other information for each channel you want to add manually.
  5. Once the tuning process is complete, the TV should display all the available channels. If you are unable to access the menu without a remote, consider using a universal remote that is compatible with your TV or obtaining a replacement remote from the manufacturer.

Auto tuning Lowry tv?..no remote

If you don't have a remote, your TV should have a built-in "Menu" button. Find and select the "Channel Scan" option in your TV's menu. This option is sometimes labeled "Rescan," "Tune," or "Auto-tune." If you can't find the "Channel Scan" option, dig through the TV's "Settings," "Tools," "Channels," or "Options" menu.

How do i select the channel menu

Many times the re-scan tune option goes away if you've selected an input on the TV other than the "tuner", "Antenna" or similar (ie: AV1, HDMI1, Sat, Cable, etc.do not make use of your TV's internal tuner).

Make sure you select an input on your TV, ( tuner, etc.) that will use the tuner and have an antenna or non-digital Cable TV coaxial cable connected. Then attempt to scan again.

I have tried to tune my tv but its still not going even when i put the cable in the right place.! it just shows no channels at all.! what can i do?

In your "Channels" menu, you should have the option of "auto tune". Once you've plugged in your antenna, cable cord, select this option. Before doing so, unplug your tv ONLY and let it set for about a minute. Plug it back in, turn on, go into Channel Menu and select the "auto tune" option. This may take a while, as newer tvs have several hundred channels. This will auto tune your tv to the channels received through your selected device\cable. You may consult your user manual for further assistance. I just did this with my tv a couple weeks ago and its very simple. You will also be able to "delete" channels that do not come in well, or not at all i.e. The "ant screen" etc.

I know this tv has digital capabilities, so i don't need to get the digital box, what do i need to watch my local channels? i have directv but does not include local channels (ie. fox, abc, nbc).

Hello

To tune the local channels do the following.

1 Press the MENU key on the remote control to
display the Main menu.

2 Use the CURSOR "UP" or "Down"
keys to highlight
Manual Channel Search. Press ENTER.

3 Use the CURSOR "Up" or "Down"
keys to select Cable,
Air (Antenna), or Digital Add-On.

After the search is complete, the HDTV will exit the
menu system and return to normal TV viewing.

IMPORTANT FACT: This HDTV maintains only one database

of digital channels. Therefore, when you search for

cable channels, the database of antenna digital channels

will be deleted. You will only be able to receive those
ClearQAM channels your cable company provides.

NOTE:"Not available" will appear on the screen

when an option is unavailable.

6.The process should tune the TV in which time would acquire available signals either broadcasts or devices that have been connected to the TV would be recogsied as well.

7. Any TV broadcast signal would be stored in the TV memory making possible program broadcast after process is achieved.

Important note
The TV would only capture signals on subscription to broadcaster establishment. For example, after TV tune up, no shows available requires acquiring service from providers. Examples of which include Dish Network, Time Warner Cable, or Digital Subscriber stations for possible broadcast subscriptions

TELEVISION

Samsung tellys top level menus should have a choice of four or five sub-menus.

The one you want is that represented by a picture of a satelite dish / antenna. Dont worry if you dont get your TV via satelite, this is just the symbol they use to denote the tuning options.

Down arrow to the satelite dish sub-option and select enter. This should then give you several more options, one of which is Tuning, Select this and then select Auto Tune, then press enter and the set will completely retune itself.

If youre asking this as a result of yesterday's Freeview retune, then you may well end up with some "dummy" channels - i.e. they either have nothing at all displayed or a message telling you the channel has moved - or some of the channels have an incorrect name. I'm hoping that now the retune has happened, in the near future these dummys or errors will be fixed.
Some Samsung TV's dont have a "tuning" sub-menu but "Channel(s)". Selecting this will then give the Auto Tune option.
