SOURCE: gas tamk removal john deere 115

I had the same thing happen. I got the tank out, but it wasn't easy. Take out the bolts out that hold the rear end on. Take off the two springs that support the seat. Take out the battery and the battery tray. Take out the 6 bolts that hold the black cowling and the front of the green platform to the frame. This will allow you to lift the seat platform far enough off the rear end to allow the tank to be pulled out through the side. You also have to remove the metal bracket which holds the front of the tank and has caused the tank to leak in the first place. New tank is $56.00 not installed. I used a soldering gun and melted the plastic back together. I think it will hold quit a while. I know this is a little sketchy, but It worked for me.

SOURCE: How do I replace the belt tensioner pulley on my

You don't need to remove any parts.

Locate the belt tensioner and attach a wrench to the boss provided. Typically, you rotate the tensioner so the pulley moves away from the belt. You may find it will take several tries to position the wrench, or get the correct wrench so that you can rotate the tensioner sufficiently to remove the belt.

Install new belt in reverse order.

Belt diagram john deere sabre 1338 GXABRF

the cheap john deeres are notorius for belt jump. Have to look at idler pulley while engaged in normal cutting height and see if it rides the upper edge of the idlers. I have had to bend up the idler arm so it runs a truer line into the pulley/idler so it doesnt creep over the edges.

TRS21 cloggs in the chute

I have the exact same problem. Also it won't clog so easily if the snow is deeper because the auger moves more snow through (or if I run with it.) It seems to me that the auger should be as close as possible to the scraper bar without causing any friction. Do you think that distance adjustable, or would new paddles on the auger close the gap sufficiently?

You don't need to remove the any lever linkages but you will need to remove some of the pulleys. If you can give an exact model number of the tractor it would help.
