Computer not recognizing moniter

This is likely a result of the computer not recognizing the monitor. During the POST test during startup,the computer will check for a video output. It can range from the video card failing to just not having the monitor plugged in. I would check you connections, perhaps try a different monitor, even a television that has either HDMI, DVI, or VGA input. If that does not fix it, it is likely your graphics card or on board graphics from the motherboard. Is there anything new since the last time the computer worked? How old is your PC?

this is because the boot up screen and the welcome screen comprises of many differences they differ in resolution ,colour depth etc so if once the moniter is set for welcome screen it may be irregular for boot window

ok sounds like you have a broken pin on your cable if you look in the end of the cable plug the part thet goes into the box but also check both ends if they are there
failing that take monitor to roof and heave ho away it goes

With the limited info that you provided, it seems like the motherboard is not functioning. When you turn the computer on, does anything happen in the box?

when you power on the computer ............after a second press F8
then advance boot option come after thet there is a option"enable VGA mode ............." press enter .finally window start up
then goto display properties and change the refreshing rate of moniter.

I'd say power supply first.

If you have an expansion slot filled with a video card, remove the video card (provided you have onboard video connector as well) then try to reboot. I just went through similar issues with an GForce video card, it went bad, but the machine appeared to boot althugh I couldn't see the screen. Removed the card & it came up using minimal VGA drivers provide with WinXP.

Obviously you cannot check the video driver if you're not booting up...and seeing the screen.

Find a buddy with a regular monitor and hook it up and try to boot. Dell monitors sometimes require their propietary drivers, so write down the model when you take your pc to a friend's place, and DL the driver and install it (provided you got it to boot up)

see on the top of cover where have two hole,leave monitor on it face, unwrap two vit on it back . you can use a small knight to push on it strongly and slowly keep going untill you hear a sound it leaf connect lock on cover monitor. do again with other hole
