Loud, intermittent popping noise with a gas pressure washer that is rarely used, except in the summer and usually stored. Any ideas? Thanks!

Has the washer been exposed to freezing weather? If so it may have caused the pump to be damaged. These things need to be flushed with air to remove water before freezing

SOURCE: Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 - Grinding Noise From Drum

This sounds like the min bearings have gone, open the door and see if there is any play up and down on the drum. if so its the bearing if not it could be something that has fallen from a pocket and got stuck between the metal clothes drum and the oute drum casing. a take apart job i am afraid for both issues.

SOURCE: My Capacity Plus Admiral Washer will spin and agitate, but it makes a loud grinding noise.

Well, Sounds to me like the Bearings are going out, but it could make that noise a good while, before it goes completely out.. Replacement would possably be more cost effective, Kinda hard to beleive !!!!!!

My Frigidaire microwave model# PLMVZ169GCC does not heat food. It runs and makes a loud noise, the plate turns but does not heat up. It is only 2 yesrs old. Thank you for your help.

Intermittent load noise (usual intermittent pulse noise is exaggerated) and the food is not heating though everything else seems to opperate normally: The Triac or Diode is capute.

You need to replace this part (@$30), but first need to discharge the capacitor, which is dangerous. I am going to give it a "shot", and not a "shock", all the punn intended. I will use an long insulated screw driver to touch both of the 2/3 tines of the adjacent capacitor, which will give a load "POP!" 2-3x to insure the stored energy is diffused.
Then, hopefully, simply replace the longe wire diode.

Popping while removing Hose Adapter

Are you sure the adapters are installed in the correct direction? To release the pressure you could turn the water off, and then turn the washer on. The residual pressure will be released. Then you can turn the washer off and remove the hoses.
