Acer aspire has inbuilt web camera and therefore will work only if the correct drivers are installed. Please uninstall the drivers first from control/panel/add remove programs. Next reboot the system and then go ahead with the installation.

Go to the Acer website and download the software and drivers, if needed, from there.

if it isnot working, try to reload the operating system.

brunella what version of windows you running cause some programs dont work with vista
its like you have to buy new hardware cams cd drives ect.

if you dont have the drivers no more you can always go online and hunt your model cam down for fix you just type in model description into internet explorer

Yes. Go to control panel, Add or remove Programs. Click on Acer Crystal Eye web cam and change to reinstall the program again.
