Bad ground from your transformer/faulty or lose wire. can open the unit up and look to see if anything looks odd or lose wire hanging or touching the unit casing, Make sure the unit is not plug it the outlet. if you dont spot anything take it to your local electronic repair shop.
the system input is from an ipod only.when the amp is switched on then the shell of the amp and the shell of the ipod gives a shock approx 8~10 volts.the shock is prevalent on the AV input /output sockets also.
Need more info. Where were you touching it when you were shocked? Were you touching anything else? Does the unit have a polarized plug? Does the outlet it's plugged into have the correct polarity?
