How to solve c6000 error code on kyocera taskalfa 6002i?

Hi

Error C6000 is displayed when your machine fails to reach the correct temparature at a specific time.

This is a Fuser Unit Problem, try to reset it by--

First open top cover then turn on power.
press system menu/counter
arrow down to service
press and hold start, # then enter keys
arrow down to maintenance
press enter
arrow down to Sim 163
press enter
select execute
press enter
turn off power then back on

If the reset doesn't work then get your unit checked for fuser unit and fuser unit heat issues.

In some cases you can reset the C 6000 - when is a false error.
try this:
1. Go to Menu/System and browse till you see
"Service".
press and hold: # START ENTER
The "Service" will go away and browse to "Maintenance".
2. Press ENTER to go in maintenace mode - the display change to Maintenance mode.
3. browse to 0163 and press ENTER - reset fuser
4. pick EXECUTE and press ENTER
5. turn the copier OFF, wait 20 seconds and power up the machine.
If C 6000 goes away it was a false error if NO ...try again and if the C6000 persist means the thermal fuse it is blown so you have to replace the fuse = call for service.

1. poor thermistor connector contact
2. thermistor broken or installed incorrectly
3. thermal cutout triggered
4. heater lamps broken or installed incorrectly

check thermistor and thermostat continuity and replace if necessary; check heater lamps installation and continuity and replace if needed; perform sim163 to reset the error code

C6400 is a fixing unit error.

To reset -

Try this, enter "10871087" from keypad, You should now be in maintenance mode.
Enter "163"press "Start / Print" key.

You should see a screen that says "Execute".

Cursor / highlight "Execute".

Press "Start / Print key.

The machine will turn off and should come back to ready. If not then you need to replace the fixing unit.
