I have a haier mini fridge. It was in the corner of my room, I moved it to clean behind it. I was very careful moving it. It was still running, but a few moments later I heard a "ping" type noise and it stopped working, sounded like metal? What happened and how can I fix it? I tried the outlet and the still works.

I f you have cable at the new location follow it back to a splitter. Remove the one you used to use and screw in the one you want to use. They should all terminate at the same location.

The click you heard is the thermal overload. This snaps open when the compressor is too hot.
Unplug the unit for 24 hours and don't move it.
Then plug it in and see if it comes back on temp.

If you go to a refrigeration supply the sell an epoxy to repair the evaporator but you will need to do a sealed system repair

This sounds like it may be due to a bad speed sensor but the best way to find the problem is to have the codes from the engine light read,the computer stores codes that will tell you what has failed, there are many auto part stores that will scan the computer and give you the codes, the code will tell you what has failed, if you can give me the code i could help you better. good day.
