Hi my brother industrial machine motor getting very hot and smells.

It may be that the blades are not as sharp as they should be. You can improve the edge on a 5000 grit whetstone or just try another set of blades.

Switch off the power and smell closer to the motor , is you feel the motor was running hot or is still heating up without a movement then it is possible that the motor is faulty.
Make sure there is no friction on the mechanism or the drive. If so remove motor and test on direct voltage to confirm if there is any issues with the switch.

Sorry to say, you probably burned up the motor (judging from the burning smell). The solution would be to replace the motor, but that might not be as easy as it sounds, especially if your sewing machine is computerized.
