SOURCE: Motor won't engage. I turn the throttle and get a clicking sound, but nothing happens. We've charged the battery for about 4-6 hours, but the light stays red, never turns green. Help?!!

sounds like the battery is bad and not taking charge.replace battery attemp again if not then check for fuel, spark and compression.then c wat happens or wats not working any motor no matter how small or big has to hv those three things to run. hope this helps.

you can try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it.

Touch screen is not working properly

Try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it.
This should reset the calibrations to default.

Push down your Home Button and your Lock Button at the same time for about 10 seconds or until you see the apple logo. This will restart your phone and should resolve your problem!

Hi Zoetic,

Looks like a charging issue, tryh the following:

1. Connect the Reader to the computer
2. Hit the Reset at the bottom for 3 seconds
3. Make sure a redlight comes on at the top of the unit
4. Leave the reader charging for about 15 minutes or half an hour
5. Disconnect the reader and check if its functional now
6. If not try the reset again

If you have an adapter for an outlet see if charging it does anything. If you've already tried resetting it aka holding down the proper buttons, and the player's "Hold" button isn't on the Red side, then you will have to bring it to an Apple store to have it looked at.

try pressing the reset button on the back side of the case or if you can do that, have an adult or friend with tools (very small screw driver) take of the screw holding the case on and pull out the battery. this should help

Coby MP-C582 Will not turn on

These players are notorious for battery problems. Charge it all night and you just might get 30 minutes of use out of it before the battery dies. Make sure the slider switch next to the power button on top isn't in the "lock" position as the unit will not power up if it is. I recommend getting a 12 volt car charging plug for it and getting real aquainted with the tiny reset button on the battery side of it. You can get a plug for about $6 that will charge it through the usb cable that came with the player.
