32 inch Panasonic LXD500. Developed cloudy interference lines at the top of screen. These become more noticeable when the picture is dark.
I have tried new connections and wires, problem is still present.
The panel is still under extended warranty. The panel is 4 years old, may be it has reached its life span. There is no cordless telephone or other electrical items apart from VCR and Sky box.

SOURCE: Faint Vertical lines on Samsung LCD TV
Your correct, LCD's don't burn. This sounds like a defective main control module. I would take it in as soon as possible to have it looked at.
SOURCE: LCD TV SCREEN PROBLEM RED HORIZONTAL LINES OF DOTS ALL OVER SCREEN PLEASE HELP
This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.

SOURCE: my 32 inch samsung lcd tv has got faint black
Are these lines on both side of the screen or what location are they in? They can be caused by watching 4:3 television with the black bars on both sides. Watching 16:9 full screen HD wont cause issues with that. If only on the sides there is not much you can do except put a pure white screen on the TV and leave that on for at least 6 hours. This will age the panel a little but in theroy wil even the pixel burn you have to make the lines less noticable. Please take a few moments to rate my answer. Thank you
