Sound has gone on Samsung LE23R87!
Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Samsung LE26R7 LCD TV
I get
Hi,assuming you have the volume up on your receiver, and on your TV, the
problem must be in either: The A/V sockets on your TV = try another
set of sockets (eg: AV1, AV2, AV3,etc)
The scart-to-AV lead supplied with the receiver = take it back to your supplier.
The receiver itself = take it back to your supplier.
Note,
though, that some new TVs have so many A/V, Component, S-Video sockets
on the back that it is hard sometimes to work out which audio sockets go
with which video socket, so you may have (for instance) the yellow
video plug in AV1 while the red & white audio plugs are in AV2.
Hope you're able to sort it out.
Also, check the 'mute button' if your using those cheap black scart leads,
please get rid and buy better ones as they are only to get you started
and wear out quickly hence your problem..
You can do the old Sky trick of pulling the power cord out for 30 seconds and that did the trick.

Samsung LE26R Digital Frozen
Solution that worked for me:
Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.
Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote
select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point
will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.

Got no picture only sound
Hello,
You most likely have a backlight issue with this TV set. Could be the
inverter circuits for the backlights. The inverter is the power supply
source for the backlights. there could also be a screen driver
problem. This would entail changing the entire board. You should call
in an authorized LG repair center to check this set out for you. Good
Luck and please let me know what you found out about this TV set.
