Model VSX 1127
Hi
This is what I found out ..cheers
I had the error starting yesterday (needless to say I freaked out a little bit).
I tried all kinds of things, including flipping through sources, shutting down for a while, even firmware updates via the Internet.
In the end, it turns out that this error (it may be a fairly general error) points to something going wrong with the connection/signal with a connected device (e.g. HDMI).
To resolve this what I did was to properly power down everything, power it back up and in my case, switch the device (my TV) from using HDMI (via ARC channel) to just using the TVs onbaord audio.... then after a little time set it back to using HDMI. After the brief handshaking, the error was gone.
Hope this helps someone.

any pre-out should work. i believe the bose have a rca jack connector for attaching to the receiver. look at the new receiver connection diagram. any output that is rca designed for use by a recording device will send a signal that the 901's can see.
always check the manual on both before connecting for any precautions.
good luck

I've had the same problem for over a month and have yet to find the time to get to it. However, I there may be a fuse on the circuit board that needs to be replace. That's just my guess.
Hope it's the solution.

Hello,
Unfortunatelly your receiver has failed. The front panel is telling you one of the power modules is probably bad. Not an DIY type of repair. These parts are near $40.00, plus cost of replacing.
Look at options to replace your trusted receiver with a new one.
Good luck
