did you clear the counters for the drum and developer FIRST if not get a new drum and new developer as both are replaced at the same time. As the machine uses the counters to determine a a new unit and adjust certain voltages to certain units accordingly. Other wise machine thinks it is old when it is new and causes image issues and codes
If your code is C 0206 it refers to a problem with the black imaging unit, if opening and shutting the door containing the toners does not cure the problem I would look at replacing the imaging unit.
