SOURCE: Resource Conflict - PCI on Motherboard Bus:0A, Device:09, Function:00 = CARDREADER PROBLEM

I did try all that, and it didnt work, on a 5050 acer built on a 3100 gabinet.

I think that the problem is that the cardreader chip is not well glued to the motherboard, that's why it gives you that error. If you try pressing certain points of the computer while booting, it miraculously stops giving that conflict error.

We should be payed back by Acer, as this is an project issue =P

SOURCE: toshiba a105-s4054 won't boot

The same machine with me and the same problem I changed the BIOS of the motherboard but the problem Tlch the same message is is the last day I discovered that the problem in the chip of Intel's motherboard happens is a conflict between the PCI and Ridr and some of the various components that vary according to the case of the slide as this occurs in the organs contained in the slide as happens conflicts in the delivery at the beginning of operation of laptop and since all the inconsistencies that occur when you start up that is stored on the memory the BIOS and therefore must be emptied this memory so that the laptop from work and not doing a re- choose to run the key F-1
s this memory chip in it's protection for the BIOS that is stored by BIOS password
Points for this memory on the motherboard when you connect to these points is clear all data from storage on a slide in the Model 100 is a satellite point of discharge under the Wireless card under the keyboard and be written next to 88 **
As for in this model are under-Ram

Motherboard sketch with labels

I would like you to post the model number of the eMachines desktop computer.
Post in a Comment.
Then I will give you EXACT information.
Chipsets, processor socket, and all. Tell you what the various expansion slots are, what Ram Memory, etc.

The front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the main wires from the Front Panel go to, is the Front Panel header.
Need a pinout?

If you are just looking for generic information, well here;

Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

The I.C, or chipset for graphics, is the graphics chipset, or
G.P.U.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

This is a Motherboard Diagram,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short.

The Front Side Bus, or FSB, connects the Processor to the Northbridge chip.
Think of the Front Side Bus as the 'Information Highway'.

The Northbridge chip, and Southbridge chip, is the motherboard chipset.

Now this is in reference to a motherboard, that does Not support the Intel Core i3, i5, i7, and i9 processors.
Different technology.

The Northbridge handles the faster capabilities of a computer.
The Processor, Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics.

AGP and PCI Express are high-speed graphics.
A PCI graphics card plugged into a PCI expansion slot, is NOT high-speed graphics.

The Northbridge chip is connected to the Southbridge chip, through the Internal Bus.
The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of a computer.
Anything connected to the;
IDE bus
SATA bus
USB bus
Ethernet bus
Audio (Sound)

The Southbridge chip is connected to the Super I/O chip, through the LPC bus.
You can see what the Super I/O chip handles.

More detail?
Put this in the Wikipedia search bar, one at a time, and read;
Processor
Front Side Bus
Northbridge (computing)
Internal Bus
Southbridge (computing)
LPC Bus
Super I/O

Anything you see in blue you can click on, to get more information about it.

A motherboard example;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ASRock_K7VT4A_Pro_Mainboard_Labeled_English.svg

The AsRock K7VT4A motherboard uses a;
VIA KT400A - Northbridge chip,
VIA 8235 - Southbridge chip

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VIA_chipsets#Slot_A_and_Socket_A

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VIA_chipsets#Southbridge_chips

Using this knowledge you can start to determine what Processors it will support (use), what Ram Memory it will support, and so on.

More info on Motherboards,

http://computer.howstuffworks.com/motherboard.htm

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/page/motherboard

As I stated previously. If you want more information on your eMachines motherboard, state the Model Number.
(Some examples, T1090, W2260, E4264 )

State in a Comment.

Is there a soundcard for the t3604 with a output mixer on it

The eMachines T3604 desktop computer uses an Intel 945GCL motherboard,

http://www.ascendtech.us/intel-d945gcl-1066fsb-ddr2-pcie-x16-sata_i_mb4intd945gcl.aspx

(No, not advertising. Just a good photo of the motherboard, if you slightly scroll down)

Look at the chart below the photo of the mobo. (MOtherBOard)
Expansion Capabilities:

A) Two PCI slots (Two PCI Conventional bus connectors. Long white slots)

B) One PCI Express x1 bus add-in card connector.

(PCI Express x1 slot. The longer PCI-Express x16 slot is on top.
Then the two long white PCI slots. Then the shorter black PCI-Express x1 slot)

You can use a Sound Card in an available white PCI slot, or if the black PCI-Express x1 slot is open.

Yes, I know, I'm getting to it, lol!

The Onboard Audio -> Intel High Definition Audio, doesn't have an output mixer feature.

My onboard audio - Realtek, (And on an Intel mobo), does.

[ Intel 915G (Southlake) motherboard.
Has a Realtek audio chip, ALC860. I use the Realtek Audio Manager. Has Sound Effects, and an equalizer.
What happened from the Intel 915G to the Intel 945GCL INTEL?
Sheesh! ]

Suggest this if you have an open, available PCI slot,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4459743&CatId=2771

This, if you only have the PCI Express x1 slot open,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=420799&CatId=2771

I don't recommend a USB sound card, but you may,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5344879&CatId=2771

(Usually only 16-bit.
Plugs into a USB port where the contacts are not gold plated, as on a PCI sound card, or PCI-Express x1 sound card.
I'm old school, and probably need to evolve ; )

Plus use Virtual DJ,

Can Intel DG41TY Motherboard Suppotrs PCI-- Exress 2.0 Video Cards???

This motherboard has 4 expansion slots and these are -
1. PCI Conventional bus add-in card connector
2. PCI Conventional bus add-in card connector
3. PCI Express x1 connector (this is a short connector)
4. PCI Express x16 connector (this is a long connector)
Use this information and ask the supplier for suitable video cards.
You need to also tell them what video applications you are using eg. games that require high end video cards. These video games also recommend types of video cards suitable for these games.

Wha t is a pci

Conventional PCI (part of the PCI Local Bus standard and often shortened to PCI) is a computer bus for attaching hardware devices in a computer. These devices can take either the form of an integrated circuit fitted onto the motherboard itself, called a planar device in the PCI specification, or an expansion card that fits into a slot. The name PCI is an initialism formed from Peripheral Component Interconnect. The PCI Local Bus is common in modern PCs, where it has displaced ISA and VESA Local Bus as the standard expansion bus, and it also appears in many other computer types. Despite the availability of faster interfaces such as PCI-X and PCI Express, conventional PCI remains a very common interface.

The PCI specification covers the physical size of the bus (including wire spacing), electrical characteristics, bus timing, and protocols. The specification can be purchased from the PCI Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG).

Typical PCI cards used in PCs include: network cards, sound cards, modems, extra ports such as USB or serial, TV tuner cards and disk controllers. Historically video cards were typically PCI devices, but growing bandwidth requirements soon outgrew the capabilities of PCI. PCI video cards remain available for supporting extra monitors and upgrading PCs that do not have any AGP or PCI Express slots.

Many devices traditionally provided on expansion cards are now commonly integrated onto the motherboard itself, meaning that modern PCs often have no cards fitted. However, PCI is still used for certain specialized cards, although many tasks traditionally performed by expansion cards may now be performed equally well by USB devices.

Bus ram TEAM 512 bus 333 fo T2341 Emachines

The max memory speed you can run in the T2341 motherboard is PC2100 = 266MHz memory. You can see the specs here at this link; http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/emachines-t2341/4507-3118_7-30464489.html?hhTest=1
The max bus speed is 266MHz & memory bus is also 266MHz.
The bios dropped your current memory speed down to what it could handle for incompatible memory. In your case its running the memory at 133MHz. Replace your memory with PC2100- DDR266 DIMM's. (Like these; http://www.memoryx.net/ememt2me12.html ).

Yellow question on sm bus controller, pci device and video controller

For Emachines W3503, download the chipset drivers for ATI Radeon® Xpress 200 at http://e4allupgraders.info/dir1/motherboards/socket775/D101GGC_downloads.shtml which provides all drivers for this model of computer.

This resolves Sm Bus Controller driver problem.

Also a good tool can be driver detective for emachines http://www.drivershq.com/Drivers/eMachines/W-Series/W3503/22605/22758/37169/Drivers.aspx

If you are recieving "Error 22: A critical error has occurred while initializing DirectDraw." while trying to play Diablo 2, Warcraft III, or World of Warcraft, it is because direct draw has been disabled. I reenabled mine by installing the catalyst at http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html for Windows XP Media Center Edition - Radeon - Radeon X300 Series.. Then use the Catalyst Control Center to renable DirectDraw.
