SOURCE: can't use the microwave

To lock or unlock the keypad, press and hold the CLEAR pad for 5 seconds. If this recurs, you may have a power line problem or trouble with your controller. If you suspect trouble and it's under warranty, don't hesitate to contatc GE via ge.com. If you don't have your mower's manual, you can download one at: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/

SOURCE: my microwave says "child" and won't play anymore

Not sure of the TT series models but for the NN series models the procedure is as follows:-

If "Child" is displayed in the display window, then the child safety lock is on.

To remove the child safey lock, press the "Stop/Reset" button 3 times in fairly short succession (less than 3 seconds). The time of day or just the Colon sign (:) is then displayed

If you later want to apply the Child safety lock, then, when the time of day (or colon sign) is displayed, press "Start" 3 times (again in short succession).

Hope this helps

I have a Lamona HJA7020 microwave - what is the wattage?

There is a method described in this article that can be used even if you can't find a manual.

https://www.epicurious.com/expert-advice/how-to-find-adjust-wattage-power-of-microwave-oven-article

Quoting: "To find an approximation of your machine's wattage, fill a microwave-safe liquid measuring cup with 1 cup cold water. Microwave on High and keep an eye on it, noting how long it takes for the water to come to a boil:
  • 1 1/2 minutes: 1,200 watts
  • 2 minutes: 1,000 watts
  • 2 1/2 minutes: 800 watts
  • 3 minutes: 700 watts
  • 4 minutes: 600 watts

My Lamona HJA7020 microwave has a lock and timer symbol on the screen and I can't get rid of them. Tried holding stop/cancel button down for 3 secs as it says in the manual you should do to cancel child...

Unplug the microwave for a few minutes, plug back in, set clock, open and close door. Make sure time displayed is correct,
Those are solutions to several problems, and I don.t know which one you have.

Frigidaire microwave key shows a lock and no keys work

Here is a previous answer that might be of help.......

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If it is still locked or goes into lock mode by itself, the "clear" key on your keypad may be shorting.
Here's how the child lock works on model FMV145:

Child Lock-Out
You may lock the control panel to prevent
the microwave from being accidentally
started or used by children.
To lock or unlock the controls, press and
hold CLEAR/OFF for about three
seconds. When the control panel is
locked, an "L" will be displayed to the
extreme right.

We have a Lamona HJA7020 microwave and it is not heating up? Help please

Someone can take the cover off the microwave and see if there is a replaceable fuse.
Some have them, some do not.
If there is none, likely the magnetron has failed, and it is time to replace the machine, as new magentrons often cost more than a new microwave.
God bless your efforts.
Caution: Stay away from the capacitor. If you don't know what that is, let someone who knows do this.

Control locked

Howdy:) Try this:

Microwave - Explanation of the Child Lock Out Feature
Many microwave control panels can be locked to prevent accidental use or access by children.
There are two different ways to lock the control panel:
1. Press and hold the CLEAR/OFF pad for 3 seconds. The display will show "LOCK" and then revert to the time of day.
A small "L" will appear in the corner of the display as a reminder that the control panel is locked. If anyone tries to use the microwave, the display will show "LOCK".
2. On some models, press and hold the 5 and 7 pads simultaneously for 3 seconds.
To unlock the control: Repeat the procedure which was used to lock the control. (Press and hold the CLEAR/OFF pad for about 3 seconds or hold the 5 and 7 pad simultaneously for 3 seconds.)
