I your plate is not heating, no water will flow. This seems to be a common problem with this rig. So far, I've helped 13 people on this site with exactly the same problem ... all the lights are on, but no heating on the plate and no dripping water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I've mastered this machine. The KM7000 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Krups Pro KM7000. How do you fix a dim display on it please?

Dim displays are normally caused by failing, bulging or split capacitors on the back of the display. They regulate voltage to the display. If you are proficient with a soldering iron, you can do it yourself.

Krups KM7000 grinds but won't brew, warming plate no heat. Is this repairable, (perhaps a fuse?) or is it junk. Bought the machine in March 2008

My Krups Grinder Brewer has stopped pulling water though the system. It just stays in the resevoir. Grinder part seems to be working fine.

Krups KM7000 won't brew

Your heating plate is your hot water heater, and most likely failed. Krups replaced my whole unit.

KRUPS KM7000 POWER IS ON AND IT GRINDS BUT DOES NOT BREW THE WATER TO MAKE COFFEE.

Check to see if your heating plate warms up, if it doesn't then your water heater/heating plate has failed.

Same thing here. It was working one minute, and then is wasn't.

Check to see if your Duo filter is clogged, and after you remove it see if there is an obstruction beneath it. Sometimes people drop coffee beans in it.
